NORFOLK, VA – The Norfolk Commission on the Arts and Humanities is proud to offer grant support to help support the organizations that make arts and culture come alive in Norfolk. The application for grants to organizations which do not receive other City of Norfolk funding is now available here.
The grant applications are for Fiscal Year 2020 (September 1, 2019 through August 31, 2020). The deadline to return grant applications is Friday, March 22, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. EDT. This is not a postmark deadline. Applications are to be submitted online at norfolkcommission.submittable.com.
Grant application assistance workshops last around one hour and are scheduled for:
- Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Jordan-Newby Anchor Branch Library at Broad Creek, 1425 Norchester Ave, Norfolk, VA 23504
- Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 5:30 p.m., at the Slover Library, 235 East Plume Street, Room 105, Norfolk, VA 23510
Grant-supported programs reach into every neighborhood and give all residents the opportunity to enjoy the finest arts Norfolk has to offer. Each year, the Norfolk Commission on the Arts and Humanities awards grants to non-profit organizations that enrich the lives of Norfolk’s citizens through the arts and humanities.
