MacArthur Center and Norfolk Animal Care and Adoption Center invite pups to strut their stuff on Sunday, February 10 to benefit Friends of NACC
NORFOLK, VA – Got a good-looking dog with a signature style? Bring that glamour pup to MacArthur Center on Sunday, February 10 from 2 to 4 p.m. for our first-ever canine red-carpet event: Fashion Has Gone to the Dogs – Dog Show! Your fashion-forward furball can participate in three categories: Best Owner/Dog Costume Combination; Best Dog Fashion; and Celebrity Lookalike contest. (Does your dog have the face of Charles BARKley? Brad PITTBULL? HOWLe Berry? Bring that superstar to MacArthur Center!) Our panel of local celebrity judges will award trophies to the grand prize winners in each category.
Because we think every dog should get his day in front of the “pup-arazzi,” we invite all canine alumni of the Norfolk Animal Care and Adoption Center to dog-walk the runway!
Norfolk Animal Care and Adoption Center has partnered with MacArthur Center for this fun new event to help support Friends of Norfolk Animal Care Center. Participants must pre-register with a minimum donation of $5 or a food donation for the Norfolk Pet Pantry to be collected on site. The event kicks off National Homeless Animal Awareness Week and comes one day before the start of the prestigious annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.
