[ARCHIVED] Man injured in shooting on Killam Avenue

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk detectives are investigating a shooting that has left a man injured on Killam Avenue.

Police dispatch received the call around 12:47 a.m. for a reported shooting outside a house party in the 5000 block of Killam Avenue.

When police arrived on scene they found a 19-year-old man with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The man was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and is expected to be okay.

Detectives ask anyone with information to call the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.

Police have not released any suspect information or motive for the shooting.
