[ARCHIVED] Police need your help identifying a robbery suspect

NORFOLK, Va. – (NPD) Norfolk police are hoping someone can help them identify the suspect that robbed a Dollar General.

On January 14, 2018 around 8:45 p.m. an adult man, armed with a weapon, entered the Dollar General located at 2591 Tidewater Drive and demanded money from the employees. 

The clerks complied with his demands and the suspect fled the location prior to police arrival.

The suspect is described as a black man around 30-years-old, approximately 5'5" and weighs between 140-160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black mask, black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. 

There were no injuries reported.

Detectives are asking if you recognize the man in these surveillance photos or know anything about this crime to call the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP

No other information is available for release at this time.
