NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives are investigating a shooting that killed a man outside an apartment complex in the Denby Park section of Norfolk Wednesday evening.
Around 6:10 p.m., police responded to a suspicious situation in the 400 block of East Little Road. When police arrived, they found a man outside lying on the sidewalk suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name will be released once his family has been notified.
Investigators have determined the shooting occurred in the parking lot of the apartment complex located at 423 E. Little Creek Road.
As detectives continue to investigate this deadly shooting, residents and motorists can expect police presence and limited road closures in the area.
