NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting that has left a woman dead.
Shortly before 8:00 p.m. police and fire-rescue were dispatched to the 300 block of Virginian Drive in the Wards Corner section of the city for a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. When first responders arrived, they found an adult woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Medics immediately transported her to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
