[ARCHIVED] An early morning shooting has left one person dead

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk police are investigating the circumstances surrounding an early morning shooting that has left one man dead. 

Around 4:10 a.m. police were called to the 3700 block of Tait Terrace for a man possibly suffering from a gunshot wound. When officers arrived, they found an adult man inside a home with an apparent gunshot wound. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.

His death has been classified as an active homicide investigation.
