[ARCHIVED] Police nab commercial robbery suspect

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – A Norfolk man is behind bars this holiday season for his involvement in two armed commercial robberies.

Norfolk police successfully arrested Curtis Harmon (37) in the 7400 block of Fenner Street without incident on Wednesday.  Harmon was wanted for commercial robberies that took place last week.  In both cases Harmon brandished a firearm inside the business and took money from the clerks before fleeing from the area.

Man wanted for two commercial robberies

Harmon faces the following charges:

  • Robbery (two counts)
  • Abduction (three counts)
  • Use of a firearm in the commission of a felony (three counts)
  • Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon (two counts)
  • Wearing a mask in public
