NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk police detectives are investigating a robbery as well as an attempted robbery that occurred overnight.
The first incident happened around 12:10 a.m. at a 7-Eleven at 124 Maple Avenue.
Investigators say the man entered the store, implied a weapon and demand money. The suspect fled on foot after he did not get any from the clerk.
Less than 30 minutes later, the same suspect robbed a 7-Eleven at 3805 Colley Avenue. The clerk complied and the man fled on foot.
No injuries were reported in either incident.
The suspect is described as a black man around 6’ tall. He was last seen wearing a ski mask, black jacket with fur around the hood and blue jeans with white spots.
