[ARCHIVED] Norfolk police search for robbery fugitive

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk police have secured charges against a man wanted for a commercial robbery.

On November 19, 2017, at approximately 6:15 p.m., two men entered the Citgo Gas Station at 2335 Azalea Garden Road.  Once inside, one man displayed a gun and demanded money from the cashier.  The clerk complied and both men fled from the area before police were called.

No injuries were reported to have occurred.

During the course of the preliminary investigation, police positively identified Dominique L. Lee (30) as one of the suspects seen in surveillance footage.  Detectives secured one count each of the following charges against Lee for his involvement:

  • Robbery
  • Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony
  • Possession of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony
  • Conspiracy to Commit Robbery

Lee remains a fugitive and is thought to be homeless.  He frequents the areas surrounding E. Princess Anne Road and Park Avenue and is known to be armed and dangerous.
