NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – An undetermined death investigation is underway
in Norfolk Sunday morning after a man’s body was found in the 1200 block of
West Onley Road.
Around 2:20 a.m. last night, police were called to West Onley
Road for a report of a man lying in the roadway. When police arrived, they found William Mayo,
52, unconscious and not breathing. Paramedics pronounced Mayo dead at the
scene.
The case has been turned over to the Office of the Chief
Medical Examiner in Norfolk for a determination of the cause of death.
