NORFOLK, Va. – Police are searching for an armed man who injured a clerk during a robbery Tuesday night.
The robbery occurred around 9:15 p.m. at the Ocean View Inn at 1020 E. Ocean view Ave.
The suspect entered the inn, displayed a gun and demanded money.
The clerk complied with the suspect’s demands, but the suspect struck him with a gun, causing a non-life threatening injury. The clerk was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
The suspect ran from the scene on foot. He is described as a black man, around 6’3” tall. He was last seen wearing a red bandanna over his face, a black hooded sweatshirt, black jacket, black jeans and white shoes.
