Contractors

Before a business license can be issued (or renewed) to a contractor, the City of Norfolk requires you to submit proof of certification from the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR) or a notarized affidavit declaring DPOR certification is not required.

  • You are required to forward your Certificate of Worker’s Compensation to the State of Virginia.
