Admissions/Intake

Intake is the entry point to Norfolk Community Services Board adult services. 

Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) 

In Norfolk, CIT is a collaborative effort between the Community Services Board and Norfolk Police Department to provide appropriate and timely response to individuals experiencing a psychiatric emergency. 

Emergency Services

Emergency Services performs pre-admission screening evaluations, short-term crisis counseling services, referrals and linkage on an emergency basis for individuals in the City of Norfolk. 

Forensic Services

Forensic programs are designed to reduce criminal recidivism, provide clinical and case management services, and promote community stabilization. Partners include Norfolk City jail, probation, parole and courts. 

Housing and Employment Services

Norfolk Community Services Board's Housing and Homeless Services Division serves homeless individuals and helps them gain access to affordable housing and additional supports. 

Integrated Care Clinic

The HRCHC Integrated Care Center is an integrated psychiatric and primary care clinic that provides comprehensive care within one community-based setting. 

Mental Health Services

A variety of services available for adults experiencing severe and persistent mental illness. 

Peer Recovery Services

Peer Recovery Services provides peer recovery services to individuals living in recovery from mental illness, substance abuse and/or trauma. Peer Recovery Services operates the Peer Recovery Drop-In Center and the Peer Recovery Warm Line. 

Substance Abuse Services

Substance Abuse Services provides numerous treatment options that are focused on recovery from the effects of alcoholism and drug addiction.
